How do I remove GST from a price?
Divide the GST-inclusive price by (1 + rate ÷ 100). For 18% GST on ₹1,180, the price before GST is ₹1,180 ÷ 1.18 = ₹1,000, and the GST is ₹180.
What are CGST and SGST?
For a sale within one state, GST is split equally into Central GST and State GST. For a sale between states, the full amount is charged as IGST.
